Our company history

  Since 1982, we have worked with many of the major agencies currently offering tours to Morocco: Exodus, Explore, Globus, Overseas Adventure Travel, FRAM, etc... We saw that many of the clients on these tours felt rushed and overwhelmed. As they were herded along in a group, they were very removed from the daily lives of most Moroccans (except local guides and hotel clerks). We wanted to design a different kind of travel experience, one where people brought home memories, not just photos, trinkets and sunburns.

Who we are

  Hamou Bouyakhf - Amazigh(Berber), tourism professional in Morocco since early '80s, manager at family owned hotel (Hotel Yasmina, Todra Gorge), fluent in three Berber dialects, plus Moroccan Arabic, English, French, Spanish, Italian, German, and Dutch

  Liosliath Manner - Visits to Morocco = since 2002, over ELEVEN! Extensive experience in Southern Morocco, brings a knowledge of the needs of the Western tourist combined with how to best enjoy a visit to Al Maghreb ("where the sun sets" in Arabic)
